We are looking for an organized, motivated, and skilled candidate who can handle the pressure of the fast pace working environment of the California Conservation Corps (CCC).
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager 2 of the Headquarters’ Program Development Branch, the AGPA will: support CCC field offices across the State of California by overseeing statewide partnerships, data tracking and reporting, statewide policy, and more. The AGPA will work closely with the Career Pathways Deputy Director to enhance, sustain, and establish internships for Corpsmembers across the State of California. The AGPA will take on these tasks with the ultimate goal of supporting field offices with the tools, resources, and information needed to help CCC Members located at field offices to develop and achieve their plans for education, training, and/or career placement upon completion of the CCC program.

Please note: This position is classified as “Hybrid” and is currently eligible for up to three days of telework per week, with a minimum of two days of in-office work. Career Consultation
California Conservation Corps is excited to take part in the first agency-wide collaborative physical career center. The career center is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento in the brand new CNRA headquarters building. Services provided include one-on-one career consultations, application/resume review, career guidance, mock interviews, and tips for applying.

Minimum Experience - Advanced experience in analyzing large sets of data from multiple sources to demonstrate clear trends/ patterns that may require quick turnaround and addressing high-level questions.
- Advanced experience with writing collaborative reports using qualitative and quantitative data, and a collaborative process with various internal departments (legal, communications, executive, etc.).
- Advanced experience with programs like Salesforce, Structured Query Language (SQL) reports, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite to use, create, demonstrate, teach others processes, and answer questions.

- Experience developing and maintaining partnerships and resources to support field offices such as: data sharing agreements, scholarships, support services, training opportunity partners, Community Support Networks, potential employers, social service providers, apprenticeship programs, etc.

- List Eligibility – Successfully complete the civil service exam for Associate Governmental Program Analyst. Please refer to the exam bulletin for the frequency of administration of this exam.
- Transfer Eligibility – Must have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above).
- Reinstatement Eligibility – Previously obtained permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above.
- Training & Development (T&D) Assignment – State employees in a permanent appointment, and no longer on probation, may be considered for a T&D assignment.
