**Job Title: Customer Service Representative (Fully Remote)**
**Location:** Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania.
**Overview:**
We are excited to offer fully remote Customer Service Representative positions! This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping others, particularly the elderly and disabled. As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for applicants, their families, and the medical community, guiding them through the application process with care and professionalism.
**Training:**
- Duration: 2 weeks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
**Regular Work Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday with flexible shifts:
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
*Please note that while you will have the opportunity to express your preferred shift, we cannot guarantee specific schedules.*
**Compensation:**
- $15.75 per hour
- $16.75 per hour for bilingual candidates
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (please ensure this is clearly stated on your resume).
- Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to follow directions and interact courteously with a diverse population.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Preferred: Three years of experience in human services and/or customer service, knowledge of Pennsylvania Home and Community-Based Waiver Services (HCBS), familiarity with medical terminology, and bilingual capabilities.
**Employment Requirements:**
- Successful completion of orientation and customer service training.
- Clearance of criminal and child abuse background checks.
- No affiliations with Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) providers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from applicants, their families, and the medical community, providing essential information and support.
- Conduct high-level waiver eligibility screenings and assist callers in identifying the most suitable waiver program.
- Inform callers of their right to apply if screening results suggest unlikely eligibility.
- Schedule initial intake visits at convenient times for applicants and provide referrals to Enrollment Brokers.
- Handle priority requests as needed and input applicant information into our system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of waiver program information, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure a courteous, helpful, and sensitive approach to all applicants.
- Uphold consumer confidentiality and respect the efforts of families and caregivers in service planning and delivery.
- Raise any concerns or issues to the Central Operations Manager.
- Conduct research and follow-up for complex cases as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
