Key Responsibilities: - Perform hands-on system integration testing
- · Solve technical issues including hardware and software anomalies.
- Develop manufacturing support firmware / tools
- Develop firmware update tools
- Help develop with firmware verification tools
Qualifications Education: - Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or related field with a minimum of two quarters or semesters remaining after completing an internship.
Experience and Skills: Required: - Familiarity with C, Python coding and debugging
- Hands on experience in Embedded Software/Firmware showing understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, IO’s, I2C/SPI and other interconnected buses.
- Familiarity developing test methods, techniques, plans, requirements, procedures, and reports
- Ability to analyze problems and derive thoughtful solutions by working with your team members
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred: - Experience with basic scripting in Python
- Ability to read schematic and translate into code (i.e. IO/Pin assignments, etc.) is a plus
The anticipated base pay for this position is between $31.00/hr and $59.00/hr, but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. This position is overtime eligible. Intern/Co-ops may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, holiday pay, and the Company’s consolidated retirement plan in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. Housing stipend will be offered for those that qualify. This position is ineligible for severance.
