Job Description

Description
Lead food safety and quality control efforts at food company.
Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
Manage the team, acting as influencer and leader regarding the highest standards of Food Quality and safety.
Conduct internal audits and inspections of food manufacturing processes, ensuring that potential issues are identified, and corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Provide training and coaching to employees on food safety and quality best practices, ensuring that they are knowledgeable and compliant with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Manage customer complaints related to food safety and quality, ensuring that all issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and other stakeholders to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to food safety and quality, ensuring that the company meets or exceeds its goals and objectives.
Requirements
Requirements : M.S. Degree in Food Science or Food Safety; one year of experience in supervising FSQ team; managing food safety and quality for dairy and egg based products; implementing food safety and QA components of ERP system; ensuring compliance with GFSI standards. HACCP and PCQI certifications.
Salary Range : $120,000 - $140,000.
