Job Description

The XM intern will:

• Use administrative software tools to test chatbot functionalities and content
• Extract use cases from historical customer experiences to create use cases for testing
• Contribute to enhancing the reliability and performance of our virtual assistant
• Work with our XM Team and product managers to assess best in class metrics fit for use based on our business case to gauge our virtual assistant's performance

EDUCATION/AREAS OF STUDY:

• Experience with QA processes, agile methodologies, and familiarity with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks
• Strong communication skills for working with a variety of teams and stakeholders
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must be a junior/senior level undergraduate in good standing pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

• 3.25 GPA level or higher
• Available May 13th thru August 8, 2025
• Enthusiastic self-starter, with a go-getter attitude, who proactively takes on new tasks
• Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
• Must have excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

This is a paid internship. Interns will work in-office a minimum of 4 days per week at Altair's Frisco headquarters. Depending on the department, there may be an opportunity to work at home on the fifth day. Each workday will be eight hours total.

WORK/PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

Office setting and/or home office work environment. Intern must be able to operate standard office equipment. Intern spends substantial amounts of time working on the computer, in meetings, and/or on the phone, often times under deadlines.
