You’re a seasoned WordPress developer with a deep understanding of Full Site Editing (FSE), Gutenberg, and modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React. You thrive on solving complex technical challenges, ensuring websites are built with clean, efficient, and scalable code. When problems arise, you’re the last line of defense, the one the team trusts to troubleshoot, optimize, and keep projects on track. You know the quality of your code speaks for itself, and when paired with a strong designer, you can build something truly remarkable—a site that’s not just functional, but polished, intuitive, and a cut above the rest. You don’t just execute tasks—you take ownership, guiding development with confidence while collaborating with designers, project managers, and leadership to deliver high-quality work. If you’re looking for a role where you can lead, problem-solve, and drive technical excellence , we want to hear from you.

You value a work-life balance. You have people in your life that are important to you that also need your time and attention, and you want to work with a company who recognizes that.

At QNTM, we bring together outstanding creativity with a focus on real world UI/UX solutions. Creative concepts are tested by marketing insight and turned into reality by individuals who never forget that real people need to use the systems and websites we craft. We provide our clients with outstanding website designs, functions, and results – and that makes us happy. We bring our curiosity and passion to every project we undertake so our clients get outstanding websites and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Development & Problem-Solving – Serve as the last line of defense for technical challenges, troubleshooting and resolving complex development issues.
  • Build & Optimize Custom WordPress Solutions – Develop efficient, scalable, and high-performing websites using Full Site Editing (FSE), Gutenberg, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React.
  • Ensure Code Quality & Best Practices – Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, ensuring projects meet technical standards and performance benchmarks.
  • Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with designers, project managers, and leadership to align technical execution with creative and business goals.
  • Manage Infrastructure & Development Workflow – Oversee hosting environments (Flywheel, WPEngine, Azure), manage DNS settings, and streamline workflows using Jira, Slack, and Harvest.
  • Mentor & Guide the Development Team – Support and provide technical leadership to developers, ensuring efficiency, growth, and continuous learning.
  • Drive Innovation & Process Improvements – Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing new development strategies that enhance workflow and project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Experience leading a development team, managing workloads, and mentoring junior developers
  • Experience writing high-quality, optimized code, diagnosing/resolving technical issues, and performing testing with documented results
  • Minimum of 5 years of JavaScript Framework experience in Vue or React
  • Strong understanding of WordPress Full Site Editing (FSE) and block editor (Gutenberg)
  • Experience with PHP, API development, and database management
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration to execute digital projects
What we bring to the table:
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Flexible Paid Leave
  • Paid Holidays
  • Medical/Dental
  • Competitive Salary
  • Simple IRA
  • Paid Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave
What you bring to the table:
  • Leadership: You set clear direction and delegate work for your team. You know great leadership is what allows the development process to run effectively and produce high-quality results for clients.
  • Ownership: Problems don’t pass you. You encourage others to solve problems, but you’re also willing to be the one who digs in when they can’t figure it out.
  • Collaborative: You have experience supporting designers and other developers. You are open to feedback and provide input to design team because it’s all about great outcomes for clients.
  • Portfolio-Driven Expertise: You have a portfolio showcasing high-quality development work.
