Role: Lifesciences R&D Business Analyst
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of business requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough data analysis and market research.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that all business processes are aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of business plans to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to support decision-making processes.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Industry Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of R&D processes and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, business requirements gathering, and familiarity with IT infrastructure, application technologies, and data management2
Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse groups, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 4 2025
The annual salary for this position is between $60,325 to $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
