Sugarbird Sweets & Teas is looking for an experienced Pastry/Bakery Cook to join our bakery team! • Scoop, bake, cut, and prep our signature scones, mini desserts, and pastries with precision and care.
• Prepare tea sandwiches, salads, syrups, and other café & catering items according to our quality standards.
• Execute recipe processes and techniques to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation , ensuring all equipment and spaces are spotless.
• Communicate effectively with team members, delivery drivers, and order processing software to ensure smooth operations.
• Work independently after a 3-week training period , with guidance under the Pastry/Bakery Manager.
• Uphold Sugarbird’s culture by promoting integrity, teamwork, and a positive work environment.

• Position: Pastry Cook (Part-Time)
• Compensation: $19.00 per hour + pooled tips
• Shift Schedule: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (DAY-TIME HOURS / NO EVENING SHIFTS)
• Employment Type: Part-Time (WEEKENDS ARE A MUST: FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs (flour, ingredients, etc.) and handle basic kitchen tasks, including taping and labeling orders.
• Must be able to work independently after 3 weeks of training with guidance under the Pastry/Bakery Manager.
