Your role in our mission

  • Assists in establishing objectives for medium to large sized projects to achieve business results by established critical dates.
  • Assists in coordinating multiple deliverables for medium to large sized projects and change requests. Ensures adherence to schedules, deadlines, and products. Escalates matters of significance as appropriate.
  • Assists in monitoring and redefining project objectives to respond to changes in the business environment. Provides requested data or information to support changes.
  • Assist in coordinating inter-project dependencies, resource allocation, release planning, technology and architecture to meet business needs.
  • Assists in planning, coordinating, and monitoring of the budget for a medium to large sized projects to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Monitors progress of project requirements and provides reports, including status reporting and updates to appropriate management, boards and committees, and business function managers to support projects in achieving the intended business results.
  • Interacts with client program sponsor and program steering board to communicate program issues and progress.
  • Assists in coordinating change in project direction, scope, benefits, and timing while minimizing risks and dependencies. Ensures adherence to same.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience in project planning, project management experience leading medium projects as the project manager or primary lead support to a Senior Project Manager
  • Microsoft Project and/or SmartSheet expertise; at least 3 years of experience
  • Microsoft Office software, including Sharepoint, Team, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with external clients with periodic onsite client meetings and meeting support 
  • Experience working with project management methodology, project planning, scope control and quality assurance methodologies, project management software concepts and practices

What you should expect in this role

  • Professional Office environment
  • Hybrid with onsite meeting requirements (Tri-County Montgomery AL area preferred, including Autauga, Elmore and Montgomery counties) 
  • At home professional work space and ability to professionally work from home with camera on in meetings
  • 5-10% travel to local client or company offices

 

The pay range for this position is $51,900.00 - $74,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
