Department: Office Staff
Reports to: Administration

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and assist students, parents, faculty, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain student records, attendance, and enrollment data in compliance with school and diocesan policies.
Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry, and basic care of office equipment
Administer first aid, prescription medications, and evaluate student injuries as needed; complete training modules related to health and safety
Support faculty and staff with administrative tasks, including copying, filing, and organizing documents.
Order and maintain office and classroom supplies.
Coordinate office activities and communications regarding school activities, events, and timelines
Serve as office manager to the school principal and assistant principal
Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic computer operations (Google, Word, Excel) and other relevant software.
Familiarity with student information systems or willingness to learn.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and parents.
Able to lift and move light to medium-weight objects such as packages, boxed deliveries, etc.
Knowledge of Catholic school values and mission preferred.

Education and Experience
Experience working in a school setting is valued but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment Training
