Job Description

Overview
AAA Life is seeking to hire a Scrum Master. This person will guide and support the product team to ensure successful project delivery. They facilitate agile ceremonies, promote collaboration, and drive continuous improvement while aligning team efforts with enterprise goals.
In this role, the Scrum Masters assists the product team, ensuring effective prioritization and alignment with business objectives. Their leadership, communication, and coaching skills will empower team members, foster accountability, and ensure agile processes are consistently applied. They play a crucial role in enhancing team performance and delivering high-quality products that provide real value to our enterprise and customers.

Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation
Implement Agile Practices: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure adherence to agile methodologies and continuous improvement.
Manage Backlog: Assist in managing the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and aligned with business goals for effective delivery.
Team Empowerment
Coach and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to understand and embrace agile principles while fostering a culture of accountability.
Encourage Collaboration: Promote open communication and collaboration among team members and cross-functional stakeholders to enhance teamwork and project outcomes.
Performance Optimization
Remove Obstacles: Identify and address any impediments that may hinder the team's progress, facilitating solutions to ensure smooth workflows.
Monitor Metrics: Track and analyze team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate Progress: Serve as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and changes in priorities.
Align Goals: Work with product owners and stakeholders to ensure that team efforts align with enterprise objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent. BA/BS preferred
2 years of experience
