Job Description

Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 8 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role. + 3 years of experience in product management or related technical roles, including experience taking technical products from conception to launch. + Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, developer tools or a related area. Preferred qualifications: + 5 years of product management experience within databases, developer tools or a related area. + Experience with generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs) as it pertains to enhancing developer experiences like no-code development. + Experience building and advocating developer tools and ecosystems. + Understanding of databases in the context of application development and refactoring. Our team brings the power of AI and LLMs to databases to create a transformative impact on product usability and customer experience including integrating Cloud Databases with internal (e.g.,Vertex AI) and external (e.g., LangChain) platforms for Generative AI app development, code generation and assistance to aid users with using databases for new application development, application refactoring, database management, etc.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google ( . + Build a clear understanding of market trends, and customer requirements to help shape the overall product strategy for AI-powered developer experiences, specifically in the context of operational databases. + Interact with customers and internal/external partners to understand their key requirements and help define a credible product roadmap. + Drive product development collaborating closely with engineering, user-experience design, finance, product operations, marketing, and field teams. + Drive positioning, pricing, and go to market strategy for our launches. + Partner with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) teams and external partners for customer and field enablement.
