Truck Driver Regional Class A at Ryder System summary:

The position offers an immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver based in Middletown, OH. Responsibilities include ensuring safety compliance, maintaining logs, and transporting freight across multiple states with a competitive pay structure and benefits. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and have at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us in Middletown, OH

• $1,800 - $2,200+ average weekly
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per Mile with 1800 - 2100 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $50.00 per Stop with 5 stops per week
• Per Diem Pay: $45 per night with 2 - 3 nights per Week
• $35 detention pay, $37.00 drop/hook at wash pay
• Endorsements: Hazmat & Tanker REQUIRED; Must have Tanker experience
• Tractor Type: Sleeper; Manual Transmission
• Safety Bonus: Pays You $4,500; $1,500 at 3 months, $1,500 at 6 months and $1,500 at 9 months
• Paid Training
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; Rotating Sunday Dispatch 2xs/Month
• Start Time: 3AM - 6AM

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
