MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING a Warehouse Supervisor in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area!

Pay: $24 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and communicate effectively with a team to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment in alignment with company policies.
• Plan and schedule production to meet department goals and company requirements.
• Coordinate workflows and schedules with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Supervise and support up to 30 hourly production employees.
• Adjust workforce based on workload and production demands.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency solutions.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, productivity, and HR guidelines.
• Work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet operational demands.
• Drive and implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Strong math skills for production tracking and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machinery/packaging equipment (preferred).
• Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO 9001) and safety protocols.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing (preferred).
• Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., tape measure, digital calipers).
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
